A colour pencil portrait of an animal or pet with no background. Portraits are cropped just above the shoulders of animal. Final price may vary based on complexity of the piece.
What Can You Draw?
I specialise in horses but can do dogs, cats, birds, livestock, reptiles even imaginary creatures.
What Medium is the Portrait Created With?
Faber-Castell Polychromos, Caran d'Ache Luminance and Pablos pencils on quality Fabriano paper or Bockingford watercolour paper.
How Much Are the Portraits?
A5 $300
A4 $500 - 2 animals $590
A3 $650 - 2 animals $900 - 3 animals $1350
These prices are based on a single subject and no background.
Backgrounds, detailed extras such as garlands, intricate tack, harnesses or a full body colour pencil illustration is upon discussion.
Any low quality reference photos will incur an extra cost.
Shipping is not included. Prices are in New Zealand Dollars.
What do I Receive?
Your commission comes unframed in protective plastic sleeve, backing board with a signed and stamped certificate of authenticity.
Everything is hand drawn, these are not photo manipulations or AI generated images.
Digital Art Portrait
What is a Digital Art Portrait?
Digital Art portraits are hand drawn using a digital drawing software, either Adobe Photoshop or ProCreate. Everything is drawn and painted by me. These portraits come in a variety of styles:

Cartoon: Simple, vibrant and overflowing with cuteness!

Semi Realistic: Stylised while retaining realistic proportions.

Painting: Detailed digital painting including simple background.
What Do I Receive?
You receive a high resolution digital illustration as an A4 sized Giclee fine art print on Smooth Decor Matte paper. If you'd like a different size or different paper, this can be discussed and will incur an extra fee.
What Does it Cost?
Cartoon (One character, no background, full body).

Semi Realistic (One character, no background, full body).

Digital Painting (One Character, Simple gradient Background, Full body).
$535
Adding extra characters/subjects, a background, and intricate details will require discussion and increase the base price.

For commercial use of commissioned art, there will be written permission and a commercial fee added to your commissioned art. Until you have written permission to use the art other than personal use, you may not reproduce the artwork in any form nor are you allowed to profit from it. You can e-mail me a request for a commission, please use commission in the subject and provide good quality photos of the animal you want drawn. Once I have received your e-mail I will get back to you with an estimate of the final price which you then agree upon. If I cannot take your commission for any reason I will let you know as well.
